Prologue

Journeys along the roads of the Gospels.

For more than two decades, Eland Tours has designed pilgrimages and tailor-made journeys across Galilee, Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem and the Judean wilderness.

Each itinerary is written for the specific group and paired with senior local guides, with visits scheduled to reach the main sites during the quieter hours of the day where possible.

Chapter One

The Holy Land, intimately.

Five regions at the heart of every Holy Land itinerary, visited with senior local guides and scheduled to keep your group at the sites during the quietest hours of the day.

Jerusalem
IThe Eternal City

Jerusalem

The Old City, the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Mount of Olives. Programmes are scheduled to reach the main sites during the quietest hours of the day, with senior local guides.

The Eland Way

Four principles that have guided our work since 2002.

01

Proven itineraries, tailored to your group

Every journey is tailored to your group and built on proven itineraries refined over two decades — pace, theological focus and hotel category are all defined together with you.

02

Senior local guides

Our guides are licensed by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and trained in theology, archaeology and biblical history. Most have worked in the field for over twenty years.

03

Careful site scheduling

Early-morning visits, private masses and quieter time slots at major sites, arranged upon request and where possible in coordination with the custodians of each church.

04

Carefully selected hotels

Heritage properties inside Jerusalem's Old City walls, lakeside hotels on the Sea of Galilee and trusted partner hotels in Petra and Cairo.

— An Invitation —
